Nathan Carter says men use his photos to fish women on Tinder

Nathan Carter said men use his Catfish face for women on dating apps like Tinder.

The country music star said that even though he was still single, apps wouldn’t be his thing, but that didn’t stop people from masquerading as him.

“I’m single right now and can’t see anyone, but who knows ahead of time,” he said.

“I never tried the online dating thing. Although I was trapped. My face was on a few profiles, a few people reached out to me saying, ‘I see you are on Tinder “and I was like, ‘definitely not’.”

Nathan, 31, said his fame would deter him from profiling on Tinder or Bumble.

“Yeah, to be honest I don’t think I would ever think about it,” he told the Irish Mirror.

“But listen, if there’s a boy out there pretending to be me and he’s lucky using my face, then play fair with him.”

The Wagon Wheel singer also rejected the idea of going to Love Island.

“I think I’m a little too old, maybe five or six years ago,” he joked.

“I wouldn’t be fit enough to be on one of these shows either.

“They all seem to be ripped apart and well groomed.”

Nathan also opened up about his plans to form Ireland’s next big folk group.

“No matter where I seem to be in Ireland, you go to a pub and there would be some really talented young kids singing old folk songs, stuff like Grace and Caledonia and they know lots of songs word for word,” he said. he continued.

“And I was just saying there is so much talent out there that it would be great to bring together a young band that could represent the folk side of things.”

He calls on singers and musicians between the ages of 16 and 24 interested in folk and traditional music to come forward for an audition next week.

Apply here before August 13 – auditions will be held in Drogheda from August 14.
